4Retail builds the new turnkey Grill Corner Restaurant in the Diagonal Mar

4Retail construction company has built a turnkey space for the Grill Corner restaurant in the Diagonal Mar shopping centre in Barcelona in just two months. It was responsible for the entire project, from the civil works, services, carpentry, finishes and industrial kitchen through to the bar for this new restaurant specialised in charcoal-grilled food. The establishment has a total interior floor area of 345 m² and a terrace of 60 m².

The high ceilings and natural plants are the key features of the decoration of the interior space, together with the light flooding through the large picture windows. Bringing great freshness and brightness to the entire restaurant.

Wood is predominant on floors and walls, including the classic-style tables. These are contrasted with the velvet-covered chairs and the padded sofas to give a very elegant touch. A large wall decorated with trunk cuttings reminds us that we are in a grill house whose speciality is cooking over wood (charcoal).

The size of the kitchen makes it a highly functional space and a magnificent work area.

Another surprising space is the toilets, which have ceramic overlays with black-colour relief, along with round mirrors with artist’s dressing-room-type light fittings, giving the space a theatrical touch. This is complemented by a large paper wall painting with green motifs.
